Tour Details

Day 1: Rome – Friday 12 September 2025 (D)

On arrival into Rome check in to your hotel and have time to explore this amazing city before meeting the group for a welcome dinner at a local Roman restaurant, where you can savour traditional Roman dishes and toast our exciting tour of Southern Italy.

Day 2: Rome to Sorrento – Saturday 13 September 2025 (B)

This morning after our Italian style breakfast we head to the train station for our fast train to Naples. On arrival in Naples we take the circumvesuviana – the Campania Express to Sorrento. On arrival we check into our hotel for the next 5 nights

Day 3: Sorrento to Pompeii - Sunday 14 September 2025 (B)

This morning after breakfast, we take the circumvesuvia to Pompeii station to meet our guide for our morning tour of this historical area. After the tour we return to Sorrento where you have the afternoon to explore the lovely old village of Sorrento or head to the beach. There is so much to do and see in this beautiful town located on the coast.

Day 4: Isle of Capri - Monday 15 September 2025 (B, L)

Today after our Italian style breakfast, we head to the Port of Sorrento for the ferry to the Isle of Capri (weather permitting) This is a full day tour and includes lunch and a local guide. You will have time to explore this amazing place and a fabulous lunch will be included also. On arrival back into Sorrento we will walk back to our hotel and dinner will be own arrangements.

Day 5: Amalfi Coast - Tuesday 16 September 2025 (B)

After breakfast we will head to Sorrento port for our tour of the Amalfi coast. This is a full day tour and includes local guide and lunch. The best way to discover the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast is by sea. We will leave from Sorrento and sail to discover the different locations of the Amalfi Coast, caves and beaches that can only be reached by sea. We will admire the ancient fishing village of Conca dei Marini, which today is home to luxury villas and hotels, Furore with its famous bridge 30 meters high, Praiano and Positano, the "vertical city" famous all around the world.

Day 6: Free Day - Wednesday 17 September 2025 (B, D)

After your Italian Style breakfast your last day will be a free one so you have time to explore Sorrento area. There is so much do and see here including taking a ferry to Ishca. This is an island off the coast of Naples and somewhere many tourists have not travelled to. It is about an hours trip by ferry from Sorrento and a lovely place to explore. If you prefer to stay local then visit one of the many lemon produce stores or head to the beach for a relaxing day before we meet tonight for our farewell dinner.

Day 7: Sorrento to Rome - Thursday 18 September 2025

After our last Italian style breakfast we check out of the hotel mid morning and take the circumvesuviana – the Campania Express back to Napels. We then board the fast train back to Rome. We will say goodbye at the Rome train station or you might like to join us for our next tour or extended your stay in Sorrento.
